Keith holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. A licensed architect since 1972, he has accumulated over thirty years of award-winning diversified experience with residential, commercial, public works, religious, educational and recreational projects in three states. He also serves as a supplemental examination (e.g., orals) commissioner with the California State Architect's Board.

His passion for building design has always been in developing innovative ways to provide his clients with multiple alternatives to their program needs and carefully integrating the impacts of the specific site whether urban California or beach front Hawai'i, all the while remaining cognizant of and responsive to the client's construction budget. His strengths go beyond design, however, as he comes from a construction family background, and has eight years experience in a jurisdiction building department. Accordingly, he is able not only to solve the client's functional and aesthetic requirements, but will provide a cost-effective solution and insure a smooth transition through the government review and approval process.

Keith Long / Architect maintains full professional liability insurance ("errors and omissions") plus general commercial liability policies, providing a peace of mind for the client.

A family man, Keith enjoys fishing and camping with his grandchildren when the opportunity arises. The whole family also enjoys following the basketball and football seasons of his alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley.
